Apple: 15 New Features Coming For Sure read more

Today is a big day in the world of technology as Apple prepares for their annual keynote. The keynote is expected to talk about their technological advancements, the way forward for the Apple Macbook, the next version of their most useless product – the iWatch, iOS 10, and the one product we have all been waiting for – the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus.
After months of leaks and rumours on what the new iPhone has in store, there is hardly any mystery left. So is there anything new to tell you guys? Apparently, yes.
Apple goofs up, lists their new phones on the website.
Someone in Apple was too eager to get done with it already it seems. The website’s Hong Kong page accidentally pushed an update live early yesterday morning. Reddit user “Jaspergreenham” was apparently browsing through the accessories page on Apple’s Hong Kong website when he stumbled upon this.

The left-hand column on the site allows users to pick accessories based on the device model. The list included the phones that haven't been released yet - the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The mistake was corrected almost immediately but not before someone took a screenshot. It also laid rest to the rumours of an iPhone 7 Pro being introduced. KGI Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, also referred to as the go-to guy as far as inside news about the company is concerned, has revealed 15 major changes that we will be seeing in the two iPhones set to release tonight. The information obtained by AppleInsider seems to be the most accurate till date.

1. A new True Tone display should be expected. Similar to the one in the iPad Pro, it will have laser-based proximity sensors for a faster response time. 2. No 16 or 64GB storage options. The iPhone will be released in three variants- 32GB, 128GB and 256GB. Non-expandable, obviously. 3. iPhone 7 Plus to sport 2x12 MP dual-rear camera that uses 1x wide angle and 1x telephoto lenses. This will not only improve the quality of the pictures but also add the option of an optical zoom.

7. You will be getting Lightning Earpods and a 3.5mm Lightning headphone adaptor jack along with the phone in the box. 8. A second external speaker for louder, better sound output. 9. Basic water resistance. Not quite like the Galaxy S7, but now the iPhones too should be able to handle light splashes and full submersion up to 30 minutes.

13. The home button will not be clickable anymore. The iconic ring will still remain but it will be more of a touch-sensor. 14. No more ugly antenna bands. 15. Two new colours. They will be putting an end to the Space Grey version. However, a dark black and a piano black version are expected to be added. If some of the first impressions are to be believed, the piano black iPhone looks absolutely sick. But don't wait too long to get it since it's expected to be rolled out in limited quantities.
