Ducati is all set to bring its latest power cruiser in India on the coming 15th September. The motorcycle to be launched is the XDiavel and it is seen as the more premium version of the popular Ducati Diavel. Once launched, the company will open a new gateway for the Ducati fans and also for those who are looking to buy a power packed cruiser motorcycle that comes from the house of a reputed brand name like Ducati.

What is Ducati XDiavel?
As already told, Ducati XDiavel is the more premium version of the standard Diavel, which is the first love of almost everyone who loves cruiser bikes up to the core and is a huge fan of Ducati. The XDiavel from Ducati comes with added features than the standard Diavel and promises more fun on the go. The motorcycle comes with a revised body styling along with several changes under the hood. The Diavel is the second cruiser motorcycle by the company after Indiana. The production of the Diavel started back in the year 2010 and the first Diavel was showcased at the 2010 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy.

Ducati XDiavel Engine and Specifications
The Ducati XDiavel draws its power from a 1262cc, L-twin, Testastretta engine that comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. The gearbox further comes linked to a slipper clutch to attack corners with immense confidence. The fuel injected motor develops a maximum power of 156 bhp at 9,500 rpm along with a peak torque output of 128.9 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The engine additionally comes with a feature called Ducati Power Launch, which helps in a safe and precise launch from the standstill. The system consists of a Bosch IMU (Inertia Measurement Unit). The Ducati Power launch system automatically shuts down at speeds over 120kmph or when the third gear is engaged. Also, the system turns itself off automatically when the speed of the motorcycle is less than 5kmph. The exhaust in the XDiavel is a two-into-one type with two outlets in the exhaust. The engine in the XDiavel requires routine maintenance intervals to around 15,000km or one year. Also, the valve regulation interval is 30,000km and the company believes that this large time interval is indeed beneficial to the customers.

Ducati XDiavel Chassis and Equipment
Ducati XDiavel has been bolted on a trellis frame and has been equipped with inverted forks at the front while the rear has been assisted with mono shock absorber. The braking system comprises of twin 320mm disc brakes at the front while the rear end gets a 265mm disc brakes to stop the bike without much effort as and when required. Additionally, the braking receives a Bosch Cornering Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) to ensure safety and precision during times of strict braking.
